Walking in North Wales

The Vale of Clwyd Ramblers are the local North Denbighshire group of The Ramblers Association. We operate a year-round programme of walks and we welcome anybody who wants to join us.
Just click the “Walks” button and choose a walk from the list,
then phone the leader listed for further details of that walk.

The group membership currently stands at 222 and we are continuing to experience steady growth with many new members joining our walk and social activities. Please tell your friends about the pleasure, enjoyment and health benefits of regular walking with a friendly group of people. Walking is probably the nearest thing you can get to an almost perfect method of exercise in a pleasing and healthy environment.

Get More out of walking

Walking with your local Ramblers Group is a great way to explore your surrounding environment. Ramblers walks leaders often know how to get to the most interesting places so you can enjoy all the benefits of walking without the worries of getting lost or planning a route.

Walks programmes are supplemented by a range of social activities. Just contact us to find out what we are doing — you can be sure of a friendly welcome.
As a registered charity, the Ramblers' Association operates both on a local and national level and aims to encourage walking, protect and maintain rights of way, increase access on foot to uncultivated land and defend the beauty of the countryside.
Whether it's the knowledge that you will be helping to safeguard Britain's countryside or the great range of benefits that appeal, please give your support and help us to protect the pathways you love today, and the ones we'll help you discover tomorrow.
Pet owners should note that dogs are not allowed on our walks.
